Challenge / Criticality
The main challenge has been and remains to manage transportation and customs procedures with organisation and operational readiness, which are essential requirements to handle the high volumes that the client entrusts us with within the required timeframe, especially when working for automotive competitions with high numbers of participants (Dubai 24h 2023, Abu Dhabi 6h, Kuwait 12h 2023, Lamborghini Super Trofeo 2023).
The most critical issue arose towards the end of 2023 when we faced several unforeseen events generated by attacks on container ships in the Red Sea. Despite the understandable operational difficulties, we still managed to deliver containers to Kuwait for the 12h race in November 2023, to UAE for the Dubai 24h in January 2024 and the Abu Dhabi 6h, within the timeframes initially requested by the client. This is because we strive to manage time well, with the aim of anticipating and addressing any issues or unforeseen contingencies as we go along and find a solution that meets the customer's needs.
Solution Offered
The services offered include dedicated door-to-door transportation via land, air, and sea with the best possible quality-price ratio. For events such as Dubai24h, Kuwait 12h, Abu Dhabi 6h, and Super Trofeo, we also handled the pickup and return of unused tyres once the event ended. We manage customs operations for import/export and the handling/grounding of containers at circuits such as Kuwait Motor Town, Dubai Autodrome, Yas Marina Circuit, and Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi, Italy.
Results Achieved
We have performed a total of 35 transports, including 13 by sea, 4 by air, and 18 by land. The total number of tyres transported is approximately 18,500. Countries touched include Hungary, UAE, Malaysia, USA, Germany, Brazil, China, Netherlands, Kuwait, and Italy.
