Our team managed the transfer of cars and equipment for the American teams for the final event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo - World Finals 2023.
Cargo Details
We handled a prestigious load, consisting of 27 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO II cars and 25,000 kg of equipment. The strategy taken by the SEL Cargo team to move the vehicles from the United States to Italy involved the organization of a Boeing 747-400F cargo charter.
The Challenge
There were multiple challenges: firstly, organizing the logistics to ensure that all 27 cars were at the airport (USA) within just two days, condensing each phase of the operation into a tight timeframe. Additionally, it was necessary to optimize the volumes to fully use the cargo capacity of the charter, ensuring fast and secure transportation. The final challenge was to find suitable warehouses and precise operational solution to ensure the re-delivery of the cars via sea before Christmas in the United States.
The Solution
The project management strategy adopted was tailor-made for the client. At a preliminary stage, SEL Cargo team met with the American teams, participating in the final stages of the US championship, to understand their specific needs. Afterwards, we visited airports and warehouses on the East Coast to select partners with whom to plan every operational detail with the utmost precision.
In addition to a Full Charter Boeing 747, we paired it with a dedicated logistics team, exclusive transportation through six specialized racing and luxury enclosed car transporters, loading and securing in containers, dedicated warehouses for the vehicles, express customs services, and tailored sea freight solutions.
Results
The delivery was on time, the operation was successfully executed and the client’s requirements were fully met. The data confirms that all set objectives were achieved as planned and with precision.
