For the organising committee of the 2021 World Ski Championships in Cortina, scheduled for next February, the introduction of a sustainable supply chain (Green Supply Chain) was necessary not only because they have the opportunity to invest in resources to make organisational operations more environmentally friendly, but also to bring an enrichment to the way of doing business.
To this end, the Cortina 2021 Foundation has involved only those partners who are able to meet these needs. SEL - Sport & Events Logistics together with EcoviA will be committed to providing logistics and transportation plans and services with a high sustainability impact.
SEL, will be a provider of green logistics services, committing to use the collective power of this sector to make an impact both locally and on a global scale.
Being chosen within a chain of sustainable suppliers will allow the Cortina 2021 Foundation, at the end of the event, to access a series of information and reporting that SEL will produce, considering the social and environmental impacts of the activity carried out with the logistics and transport services, demonstrating its sustainable contribution to its stakeholders.
