Last week-end Team Sel was in Lausanne, the olympic capital, for the Grand Final of the 2019 World Triathlon Series.
More than 4000 professional and amateur triathletes from around the world took part in the world championships, which animated the shores of the Lake of Geneva.
The event awarded the titles for the World Triathlon Series, the Triathlon Junior and Under 23 World Championships, the Paratriathlon World Championships as well as two tests reserved for Age Groups.
Team Sel had the opportunity to watch the top events of the week-end from a privileged observation point and attended together with 73 Federations and all the stakeholders the gala dinner which took place on Saturday night at the Movenpick Hotel .
During the gala event it was held the induction ceremony awarding 6 prominent figures who made the history of triathlon, including them in the Hall of Fame.
“It was a real privilege and a great honor to be present in the final Triathlon event of the season. Since 2017 SEL is the official ITU provider for the logistics and travel services. The wish is to strengthen the partnership and collaboration with ITU for the next years, with the aim of offering increasingly improved and high quality services to support at best the federation and its incredible athletes” – said Pier Carlo Bottero, CEO of SEL.
